I thought of another name for Wisdom Wednesdays: Willingness Wednesdays. I do healing work daily and somehow Wednesdays are a marathon of healing work as I prepare to write this newsletter. My first Tantra practice today was ecstatic. I didn’t expect that hours later my guides would direct me to do a second practice. They told me it was essential for me to have another orgasm to unlock the message for the week. It took effort, and I reminded myself that I have a warrior pussy and carried forward to victory.
I am playing hide and seek with my 10-year-old traumatized self who continues to elude me. Before there can be trauma recovery, there has to be trauma uncovery. I have devoted 20 years to researching ways to achieve trauma uncovery. I know there are people who would suggest EMDR, hypnosis, regression, etc., yet these methods do not serve my purpose: accelerated Karmic resolution. Accelerated Karmic resolution requires healing our spiritual hearts, which exist on the spiritual plane of existence. The Sacred Feminine Program of Accelerated Spiritual Growth® brings us to the spiritual plane of existence where the new frontier of healing is taking place.
As I work with my dissociated 10-year-old self, I experience how separate this part of me is from my conscious self. Dissociation is the process whereby we escape the feelings associated with our traumatic experiences by separating from ourselves. The ego/personality is the dissociated self. It does not feel as it has disconnected from feelings. With each piece of trauma recovery, we are integrating a dissociated part of ourselves into our conscious self. This sets the stage to feel what we have denied. Repression and dissociation are two sides of the same coin. We repress our feelings by dissociating from them.
Humanity is in a state of extreme dissociation. This is how people can take children from their parents and put them in cages and how a police officer can murder a man begging for his life. What kind of environmental wake-up call will cause government to act with urgency in relation to our dying Earth?
Our reaction to trauma desensitizes us. As we heal our traumas, we awaken our sensitivity. Some people tell me they don’t want to experience greater sensitivity. They feel too much. They are referring to the emotional sensitivity of the ego/personality. I am referring to the spiritual sensitivity of the awakening heart. Awakening our sensitivity is a spiritual imperative. For support in awakening your sensitivity, I recommend the La Vie de la Rose® flower essence Awakening Sensitivity. It is part of the Trauma Recovery Flower Essences™. Each of the six essences in this set corresponds with one of the six pillars of trauma recovery I have identified through my research and clinical experience. I plan on doing practitioner training with this set in the new Nature year.
Because we live in a state of desensitization, we seek a false sense of aliveness through experiences, relationships, sex, substances, etc.Tantra awakens our sensitivity by tunneling to our heart centers where we feel what we have denied. The true richness of our human experience and our authenticity emanate from our feeling heart. As we restore it, we become more internal, relishing the spiritual nourishment and substance of our Souls. As the Year of Complete Surrender ends, I find myself in the Himalayas of my heart, the India of my Soul.
1. The exercise below creates an energetic template for your Return to Self.
Create a drawing in which you locate your conscious self in the center of the page. Then draw your satellite selves, i.e., the traumatized/dissociated parts of yourself. You can use circles for each trauma and write a word that represents the trauma and an age.
**I define trauma as any experience that leaves a deep and painful energetic imprint in your heart center.**
Draw lines between your conscious self and your satellites.
Do a meditation in which you call/draw your satellites back into your conscious self.
Imagine integrating these parts of yourself into a unified whole.
2. This exercise supports you to move from desensitization to feeling.
Sit in mediation and connect with the light of your Soul. Imagine bathing in your Soul light. Sense its warmth melting the tundra of your consciousness.
**Consider doing this mediation under the waning sun as it prepares for its winter respite from the Northern hemisphere.**
